Successful fall fundraiser

P.E.O. Chapter IW would like to extend a big thank you to those who helped to make our annual Fall fundraiser on Oct. 10 a success. First and foremost, we thank all who purchased tickets and bid on our silent auction items. By doing so, you support our organization and our mission — educating women. We hope you had a good time.

A big thank you goes out to some amazing gentleman who donated their time modeling for our calendar, “12 Reasons We Love Battlement Mesa/Parachute,” as well as modeling in our Fashion Show: Josh Allen, Chuck Curtis, Evan Hoff, Darcy Hurst, Mark King, Sean Reider, EJ Rivet, Leif Sackett, John Shepherd, Lee Smith, Vinnie Tomasulo and Beau Williams. You were great sports, and we hope you had fun. We would also like to thank Lynn Shore for being the official calendar photographer, as well as Pete Caldwell for putting our calendar together.

The following businesses were also very instrumental in our successful fundraiser: Old Mountain Gifts, Bottle Cap Liquors, Miller’s Dry Goods, Battlement Mesa Golf Course, Christopher & Banks, Herberger’s and Susan Hoover/All Social Matters. Please help to show your appreciation to these businesses by your patronage. And, finally, thank you to the Grand River Recreation Center for allowing us to use your Community Room again for our annual fundraiser. This is a great venue for us and we look forward to next year’s fundraiser.
