Readers say thanks: Rifle Heritage Center closes for winter

Successful season at Rifle Heritage Center

The Rifle Heritage Center is now closed, (due to no heat in the building), but we would like to say “thank you” to all of the people who helped make the 2016 season at the Heritage Center a great success.

First of all, to all of our wonderful volunteers who so graciously greeted and gave tours to our guests and then of course to all of our guests from near and far, from our local friends and neighbors to those who came from around the world to see and experience the collection of artifacts displaying the history of Rifle and its way of life, from yesteryear up to the present.

The people who have visited us this year have been totally amazed at the quality of our museum, some even going as far as to say they’ve never seen one quite like ours — even the bigger ones in the bigger cities don’t compare.

We will be closed through the winter season, but we will reopen on May 17. We look forward to having you come see the new exhibits that are planned for our 50th anniversary year.

Secretary, Rifle Heritage Center board
