Chautauqua

Chautauqua: An assembly for education and entertainment of adults by lectures, concerts and demonstrations which are held for several days. During Chautauqua, the park is manned with storytellers and demonstrators to educate and entertain the public. Thursday is oriented towards the elementary school students of the area. The general public is welcome on Thursday, but Friday, May 10, from 4 to 8 p.m., Dutch ovens will be fired up for an authentic Old West food tasting.

Open Mic Night

The Rifle United Methodist Presbyterian Church’s brunch will celebrate its 125th anniversary with a display of period fashions over that time period. Everyone who attends is asked to dress in their favorite decade clothing (optional).
