Friday Night Movie in the Park

“Ice Age” in Silt on Friday, Aug. 15 in Veteran’s Park, 500 Home Avenue. Movie starts 10 minutes before dark. Bring a blanket, chair and snacks if you like.

Old West Shoot Out

Doc Holliday and Kid Curry will give a historical presentation at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the Silt Historical Park, 707 Home Avenue.

New Castle Community Farmer’s Market

Every Thursday through Aug. 28 in Burning Mountain Park. Fresh produce and crafts available!

Palisade Fruit and Wine Tour

Head down to Palisade to tour the vineyards and fruit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29. Cost is $5. Lunch is on your own. For more information, contact the Rifle Senior Center at 625-1877.

Rifle Farmer’s Market

Every Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. through Sept. 26 at Second Street and Railroad Avenue. Come buy fresh fruits and vegetables and listen to live music!

Grand Junction Rockies game

There will be one more trip to see the Grand Junction Rockies at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2! To reserve your seat, call the Rifle Recreation Department at 665-6570 or the Senior Center at 625-1877.

17th Avenue Allstars

The 17th Avenue Allstars are one of Denver’s top acts singing contemporary a capella and they will perform at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at the Rifle CMC Campus. From doo-wop 50’s favorites to contemporary a capella, straight ahead rock tunes or vocal jazz, the 17th Avenue Allstars will put on a show. For departure time and to reserve your seat, call the Rifle Senior Center at 625-1877.
