Teddy bear donation

Members of the Rifle Middle School cheerleading squad deliver teddy bears to Grand River Health on National Teddy Bear Day, Thursday, Sept. 10. The girls collected teddy bears to distribute to Grand River, Colorado River Rescue in Rifle and E. Dene Moore Care Center, as a way to give back, said cheer coach Valentina Epps. The cheer team was formed last spring at the middle school, which has not had cheerleaders in approximately 19 years. Pictured from left to right in the front are Jadah McDaniels and Deborah Sines; in the middle are Hope Escalante and Hailey Colmenero; and in the back are Stacy Pemberton, Grand River Hospital ER director, and Lisa Domer, trauma coordinator.
