Annual Hoop D’Ville basketball tournament gets underway on June 20

The 13th-annual Glenwood Hoop D’Ville Basketball Tournament will take place at Sayre Park in Glenwood Springs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 20.

The tournament features 4-on-4 play, and teams can have up to six players. A slam-dunk contest for all participants will take place at 11 a.m.

Live music will also be at the venue, and lunch will be provided free of charge for players, guests and spectators.

Cost per team is $180, which includes a T-shirt for each player. The tournament will benefit C.A.R.E animal shelter located near the Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley campus, Youth Zone in Glenwood Springs, Angel Network in Glenwood Springs, and local high school basketball teams.
