Trent Blizzard recorded a hole-in-one on the No. 8 hole Thursday at the Glenwood Springs Golf Club. Blizzard used an 8-iron on the 153-yard hole. Joe Pawlak and Russel Cable witnessed the shot.

Teams can now sign up for the two-day Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies second annual softball tournament to be held July 16-17 at Canyon View Park in Grand Junction.The cost for the double-elimination tournament, open to mens recreational and coed recreational teams, is $150 per team ($200 after July 1).
