Signups for Three Rivers Youth Football in Parachute and Battlement Mesa are open to children entering third through sixth grade in the fall.

The Rifle Grand Slam Softball Camp will take place Aug. 8-11 from 6-8 p.m. at Deerfield Park in Rifle. The camp is open to players entering high school in the fall and the registration fee is $60.

Lloyd Manown carded a hole-in-one Wednesday on the 145-yard No. 3 hole at the Glenwood Springs Golf Club. Manown used a 4-iron for the ace. John Turner and Ray Owen witnessed the shot.

The Soda Pop Open golf tournament, scheduled for Monday at the Glenwood Springs Golf Club, still has tee times available for competitors.

The tournament is open to all boys and girls 18 and younger. The entry fee is $10.

The Roaring Fork High School football team seeks an assistant coach for the 2005 season. Information: 948-8208.

Registration is open for the Rick Upchurch Rare Breed football.

The camp, which will have seven former NFL players coaching, is open to players entering third through eighth grades in the fall. It is scheduled to run Aug. 4-6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Glenwood Springs High School. Lunch is provided.

The fee is $75 per player, and scholarships are available.
