The Colorado Volleyball Officials Association seeks new or existing volleyball officials for the fall junior high and high school seasons. The region extends from Parachute to Aspen to Vail, runs from September to mid-November and offers excellent pay. The first clinic for new officials is Tuesday. Information: Larry Williams, 945-2074.Basalt Soccer Club accepting sign-upsThe Basalt Soccer Club is taking registration for the following developmental teams: Under 8/U10 boys and girls; U11 and U12 boys and girls; and U14 girls. Registration open for Rare Breed football campRegistration is open for the Rick Upchurch Rare Breed football camp. The camp, which will have seven former NFL players coaching, is open to players entering third through eighth grades in the fall. It is scheduled to run Aug. 4-6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Glenwood Springs High School. Lunch is provided.The fee is $75 per player and scholarships are available.
