Prepaid entries need to be sent to Rifle Creek Golf Course, 3004 Highway 325, Rifle, 81650.Information: 625-1093.Glenwood youth soccer teams capture victoriesThe U13 Glenwood Ice boys kicked off the fall season with a 5-1 win over a U14 team from the Thunder Mountain soccer club of Grand Junction Saturday at Gates Soccer Park.Hunter Brown scored two goals to pace the Glenwood attack. Michael McGraw, Ryan Buchanan and Kevin Brown scored one goal each.In girls action, the U12 Glenwood Ice earned victories against two Front Range opponents this weekend.Opening on the road against the Wheat Ridge Avalanche Ice, the local girls posted a 5-0 shutout win. Five Glenwood players – Holly Brown, Lilly McSwain, Corey Gera, Hope Whitman and Michaela Mansfield scored in the contest.Traveling to Broomfield Sunday, Brown and Mansfield scored twice in a 6-2 win as McSwain and Gera added individual scores.The Ice host the Boulder Force Tar Heels at Gates Soccer Park on Sept. 10.
