Weekly indoor sessions at the Glenwood Springs Community Center’s climbing wall are from 5-8 p.m. Thursdays for climbers ranging from teenagers through adults. One session on the indoor wall qualifies climbers for future outdoor sessions.

Preregistration is required for all outdoor climbing sessions.

Registration for area youth hockey players, ages 6-18, for the 2005-06 Glenwood Youth Hockey program is from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Hotel Colorado.

The Lead King Loop, a 25-kilometer running race/walk/hike takes place in Marble on Sunday, Sept. 25. The event, which benefits the Marble Charter School, starts at 8:30 a.m.

Cost is $35 before Sept. 15, $40 after.

Registration is being accepted for a youth indoor climbing class on Tuesdays in October at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. The class is open to beginning to intermediate climbers, ages 7-14, from 3:45-5 p.m. for four weeks beginning Tuesday, Oct. 4. Cost is $32 for residents and $38 for nonresidents.
