The Glenwood Springs soccer club is conducting a grade 8 referees certification clinic on the evenings of Feb. 9-10 and all day Feb. 11.

Sessions are at Glenwood Springs High School’s Library lecture hall.

The Silt Fitness Center will host an open house for adults from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, through Friday, Feb. 10. The fitness center is located at 2254 Mustang, Unit A, in the Silt Trade Center. A membership raffle for guests is scheduled as part of the event.

The Glenwood Springers youth club track and field team is accepting applications for the position of head coach, beginning with the 2006 summer season. Length of employment is from May 30 through July 6.

The position extends if club athletes qualify for regional and national events.

Responsibilities include organizing and administrating team practices, meet registration, attendance and supervision.
