The Glenwood Defiance Rugby Club has changed its schedule this weekend and instead of going to Vail for its match today, it is going to Steamboat Springs to play in the 33rd annual Cow Pie Classic today and Sunday.

The Three Rivers Football Officials Association is looking for interested men and women to qualify as certified football officials with the Colorado Football Officials Association.

Training of new officials, which includes classroom work and on-field clinics, begins later this summer. The schedule is to be announced.

If interested, contact Hugh E. Greathouse at 963-3443 or 379-8010 or Jeff Shroll at 471-3226.

The Colorado State University Shotgun Sports fundraiser is scheduled for July 14 at 9 a.m. at the Rifle Sportsmen’s Club.

Lunch, games and prizes are on the itinerary, and shooters of all levels and experience are welcome to attend. Non-shooter games will also be open for play. On tap are Annie Oakleys, piece shoots, bushwhackers, flurries, trap, skeet, card shoot and page shoot competitions.

All proceeds benefit the CSU Shotgun Sports Team’s 2007-08 season expenses.
