After-school flag football starting upThe Glenwood Springs Recreation Department is offering a flag football program for first- through third-graders starting Monday. Flag football participants meet Mondays and Wednesdays at Vogelaar Park from Sept. 13 to Oct. 13. The fee is $38 ($45 nonresidents). Information: 384-6300.Punt, Pass and Kick contest Sept. 17The annual Punt, Pass and Kick contest for boys and girls between 8 to 15 years old (as of Dec. 31, 2005) is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at Vogelaar Park.The event is free.
