Thursday’s Glenwood Springs-Rifle varsity boys soccer game is now scheduled for 5:45 p.m. after the school flip-flopped times with the junior varsity game, which is now slated for 4 p.m.

The city of Glenwood Springs now has four adult hockey league divisions, including a new “developmental” for those new to the game or interested in additional coached skill development.

A team managers meeting will be Oct. 17 at the Glenwood Springs Community Center at 6:30 p.m.

Also new this year is a youth recreational nontraveling hockey league for children 7-18 years old. No previous hockey experience is required, and a six-week session is only $100.

A registration and gear swap held by Glenwood Youth Hockey is scheduled for Oct. 14 from 4-6 p.m. at the Hotel Colorado.
