The Sunlight Ski Team is up and running with three on freestyle, 12 more on the ski team, and over 40 on Buddy Werner so far. Their first big race is Jan. 3 and 4 in Loveland.

Racers can still sign up Saturday mornings. Please meet in the back of the Sunlight Day Lodge and see Bob or Tish before skiing on Saturday. Check in with either of them before 9 a.m. to pick up your racing bib and find out which coach your racer will be skiing with.

Racers should have skis or snowboard tuned, lift ticket or season pass, ski poles, helmet, gloves, lunch and ready to ride the lift at 9 a.m. every Saturday. They typically break for lunch and eat in the lodge anytime between 11 a.m. and noon. Racers can purchase a lunch at the lodge or bring a sack lunch.

After lunch they’ll ski to 3 p.m. Parents can meet their racer in front of the lodge at that time. Racers are welcome to ski with parents or friends till 4 p.m. when the lift closes.

See http://www.sunlightskiteam.org for updated and revised schedule for the year. For questions call Bob Lockard at 618-2101 or E-mail at block@sunlightskiteam.org.
