PEACH VALLEY, Colorado ” Contrary to a previous report, Coal Ridge’s Saturday home baseball doubleheader against Cedaredge is still a go. The first game is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.

Also, Coal Ridge’s game at Rifle, originally scheduled for today, will now be played on March 18.

CRESTED BUTTE, Colorado ” Whitney Setterberg, a senior at Glenwood Springs High School who races for Ski and Snowboard Club Vail, won a pair of Saturday giant slalom races in Crested Butte. The race, the Surefoot Sweitzer Memorial FIS-U, was a university race.

Setterberg finished ahead of friend and former teammate Georgia Wettlaufer, a sophomore at the University of Denver, by 1.55 seconds in combined time.

Setterberg skied with a broken hand. She broke a bone and separated a ligament in practice last weekend and her coach fabricated a guard so she could still ski.

RIFLE, Colorado ” Rifle High School is looking for a head volleyball coach for the 2009 season. Interested parties should contact Michael Green at 665-7739.
