The annual Glenwood Hoop D’Ville Basketball Tournament will grace the pavement at Sayre Park on June 27. The outdoor, 4-on-4 tourney starts at 9 a.m. and is open to players 15 to 60 years old. Proceeds benefit C.A.R.E., YouthZone in Glenwood, Angel Network and local high school basketball teams.Contact Mike Picore at 309-2911 for more information.

The annual Glenwood Open golf tournament will hit the links at Glenwood Springs Golf Club on July 11-12.Call the course at 945-7086 to sign up.

Registration for Three Rivers Youth Football is now in progress. All boys and girls entering the fifth and sixth grades in the fall are eligible to participate.Practices begins Aug. 31 and games start Sept. 13. Registration is $200 and includes the league fee and equipment rental. Space is limited – the league will field two teams of approximately 22 players each – so those interested are encouraged to contact Ron Morehead and sign up early.A flag football program for all incoming second, third and fourth graders is also being offered by the Aspen Recreation Department. The Aspen Yacht Club will host its 40th annual Regatta on July 18 and 19 at Ruedi Reservoir, located 18 miles up Frying Pan Road outside Basalt.Classes will include the following: J22, Santana 20, Ultimate 20, Star, PHRF A&B, C-15, Laser, Sunfish and Portsmouth. Races start at 11:30 a.m.Spectators and those interested in racing, crewing or joining the club are encouraged to attend – but please leave dogs at home.
