FORT COLLINS – The basketball season is over for both Rifle’s girls and Roaring Fork’s boys.

Brush knocked off Roaring Fork, 57-37, in Friday’s consolation semifinals at the Class 3A state tournament. With the loss at Colorado State University’s Moby Arena, the Rams finished up their season with a 17-9 record.

Torrey Slininger’s offensive rebound and putback with 22 seconds left delivered Estes Park a 49-48 win over Rifle in the girls bracket’s consolation semis.

The Bears, who brought a 24-0 record to Fort Collins, wrapped a 24-2 campaign with the defeat.
