Grand Valley had eight field goals in the third quarter, with McKinley scoring the only bucket from inside the arc. The sophomore had 17 of his game-high 40 points in the stanza, and Dylan Culver and Mackenzie Gibson also chipped in treys. The Cardinals outscored Olathe 23-10 in the third quarter to take a 46-43 lead.As a team, the Cardinals hit 12 three-pointers. Luke Braby and Taylor Prince finished with eight and six points, respectively, for Grand Valley, and each pulled down 11 rebounds.Grand Valley improved to 1-1 on the season.
