Coal Ridge boys basketball falls short at Olathe

The shots weren’t falling for Coal Ridge’s boys basketball team in a 36-29 loss at Olathe on Saturday.

Alec Herrera led the Titans with 11 points. Andy Bowles scored seven.

“We had a solid effort defensively, but we just couldn’t put the ball in the bucket,” Coal Ridge coach Paul Harvey said. “We’re still growing as a team and improving. The guts and soul of the team are in place, it’s just time to bring the brain and the rest of the body to the game.”
