Coal Ridge puts two golfers in top 10 in Cedaredge tournament
Kyle Simonson and Zach Lyons turned in top-10 performance for the Coal Ridge boys golf team on Thursday, taking seventh and ninth respectively at the Cedaredge Invitational at Deer Creek Village Golf Club.
Simonson shot an 88 on the par-72 course, while Lyons carded a 91. The Titans took sixth overall in the 10-team tourney with a score of 281. Grand Junction Central won the contest with a team score of 260.
Coal Ridge will return to the links on Thursday to play in the Moffat County Invitational in Craig.
