Coal Ridge Titans XC brings home two 8th-place finishes at Hotchkiss Invitational

Squaring off against some of the best cross country teams in the region, the Coal Ridge Titans cross country boys and girls teams brought home two 8th-place finishes at the Hotchkiss Invitational, Saturday.

On the girls side, the team finished 8th with 196 team points. Unfortunately, the Titans didn’t place a runner in the top 20 of the girls race despite fielding enough runners to qualify as a team.

For the boys, Justin Allen was the lone Titans runner to place in the top 20, coming in with a time of 19:13.46, good for 12th-place. With 218 team points, the Titans finished ahead of Paonia (225), Olathe (261) and Aspen (266).
