Colorado Rocky Mountain School drops soccer game to Hotchkiss

CARBONDALE, Colorado ” Colorado Rocky Mountain School dropped to 1-5-1 for the season with a 3-1 boys soccer loss to visiting Hotchkiss on Tuesday.

Tak Sasaki struck for the Oysters’ only goal against the first-place Bulldogs, who improved to 5-0-3 in the 3A Western Slope League and to 7-0-4 overall.

“They’re a good team,” CRMS coach Dan Pittz said. “We played them pretty well. We let a few goals in there. We were down 3-1 at halftime, so the second half was a good chance for us to come back and play as a team.”

On Thursday, the Oysters head across town to play Roaring Fork. Varsity play will begin at approximately 6 p.m.
