Demon football rally at 7 p.m. tonight

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado ” In celebration of Glenwood Springs High School’s first state football championship in 28 years, the school will be holding a community rally at its gymnasium tonight at 7 p.m.

Central on the agenda is the presentation of the golden football state title trophy.

On Saturday, the Demons beat Fort Morgan 23-14 at Aurora’s Legacy Stadium to win the Class 3A title. It was the first football title for Glenwood since the Demons defeated Fountain Fort Carson 21-6 to win the 2A title in 1980.
