Demon Invitational begins tonight in Glenwood

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado ” Two days. Four teams. Twelve games.

If you’re a basketball enthusiast, the Demon Invitational should satiate your hoops appetite.

Glenwood Springs High School’s boys and girls teams welcome Faith Christian, Woodland Park and Eagle Valley to town today and Saturday for the annual Demon Invitational.



Games start at 3 p.m. today with Eagle Valley going against Woodland Park in both boys and girls games. The hometown Demons take on Faith Christian at 6 and 7:30 p.m., with the girls leading off.

The tournament will be played under a round-robin format, meaning the team with the best record at the end is the champion.



Speaking of champions, tourney guest Faith Christian comes to Glenwood as the defending Class 3A boys state champion and is ranked second in the classification by RockyPreps.

Faith will take on Glenwood tonight at 7:30 p.m.
