Girls soccer Titans roll Rangely

PEACH VALLEY, Colorado ” Coal Ridge erupted for three second-half goals to down visiting Rangely 4-0 on Friday.

Chelsie Ryan netted a pair of goals ” both in the second half ” as the Titans got off 42 shots against the Panthers.

Kourtney Mitchell and Drew Simonson also scored for Coal Ridge, which hosts Basalt today at 11 a.m. in a battle for first place in the 3A Western Slope League.

The Titans are now 7-0-1 overall and 6-0-1 in league. Basalt will take a 7-0-1 league mark into today’s clash in Peach Valley.
