Glenwood cheer teams take top honors in Denver

The Glenwood Valley Athletics All-Star Cheer, a local nonprofit organization in Glenwood, took over 70 athletes to Denver this past weekend to compete in the Universal Cheer Association’s Mile High Regional competition. With boys and girls from four different teams competing at the regional competition, the Senior Ignite team took first place in their division, while the Junior Explosion team took first place in their division as well. The Mini Sparklers team took first place, while the Tiny Twinkles team took third in their division.
