Glenwood Half Marathon and 10K makes return on Sept. 1.
Half Marathon, 10K race scheduled for Sept. 1
The Glenwood Springs Half Marathon and 10K, a part of Endurance Race Series Colorado, will be held Sept. 1 starting at the Glenwood Springs Community Center.
The trails for the 10K and half marathon will go up Red Mountain, and the race will start and finish at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. Runners will descend down Red River Road back to a fun single track which will wind them to the finish line. Aid Stations will be located every two miles with water, Gatorade, and more. The terrain for the half marathon is 60 percent dirt road.
Cost is $60 for the half marathon and $30 for the 10K, and an extra $5 late fee will be added for registrations after Aug. 20. No registrations will be taken after Aug. 29.
Endurance Race Series Colorado is a series of half marathons and 10Ks throughout the summer. Race sites include the Keystone Resort Half Marathon and 10K Trail Race on July 21, and the Beaver Creek Half Marathon and 10K on Aug. 10.
