Glenwood Race Series wraps up with the Shuffle

As the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter, the Glenwood Race Series will see its last competition take place in the form of the Glenwood Canyon Shuffle on Saturday.The race, which includes an individual half marathon, a half marathon relay and a 5K, will wind along the Colorado River on the Glenwood Canyon bike path. All of the races will finish at the No Name rest area, which is exit 119 off I-70. The half marathon will begin at 9 a.m. at Bair Ranch, while the 5K will start at 10 a.m. at Grizzly Creek. Participants are encouraged to be dropped off at the starting line of their desired race or take a bus from No Name to their respective starting lines. Buses will be available for those who preregister and then on a space-available bases. Buses will leave No Name at 8:15 a.m. for those in the half marathon and at 9:30 a.m. for runners in the 5K.The transitions for the half marathon relay will be located at Hanging Lake, the Shoshone Power Plant and at Grizzly Creek. Entry fee for the half marathon relay is $75.Cost for the half marathon is $30 and the 5K registration fee is $20. Registration includes a long-sleeved T-shirt and a chance to win $100.
