Glenwood second at Eagle Valley Invitational
GYPSUM ” Kammi Ivie carded a 94 to lead the Glenwood Springs girls golf team to a second-place finish at Thursday’s Eagle Valley Invitational held at the Cotton Ranch Golf Club.
Glenwood finished the five-team event with a score of 318, well behind the score of 280 posted by Eagle Valley. Rifle was third with 332.
Along with Ivie, Anna Herr and Ashley Herr rounded out the Demons’ team card with rounds of 111 and 113, respectively. Aspen’s Kristin Walla won the individual title with a round of 81.
Jenny Hughes posted the low score for Rifle with a 104. Trish Wailes and Ashley Chastain finished at 113 and 115, respectively, for the Bears.
