Glenwood youth hoops camp takes place in June

Glenwood Springs High School’s boys basketball program will host its annual Demons Youth Basketball Camp, scheduled for June 16 to 18 at Glenwood Springs High School.

Camp instruction will focus on motivation and goal setting. Shooting, passing, ball handling and dribbling, defensive concepts, total player development and fun. The camp will break into three age groups for instruction (third through fifth grade, sixth through seventh grade and eighth through ninth grade), with each session limited to 50 players.

Instruction will be given by the GSHS boys basketball coaching staff. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle and wear a T-shirt, shorts and appropriate shoes. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt.

Cost is $60 for the three-day camp. A $30 non-refundable deposit must be turned in by June 2 for a spot to be reserved.
