How far will the Nuggets go in the playoffs?
Well, unfortunately for the Nuggets and their fans, ‘Melo and company are going to lose to the Rockets in the second round.

If the Nuggets want to go further in the playoffs than the second round, they are going to have to start playing a little defense.
Until then, you the Nuggets fans can expect more early-round knockouts for the Nuggets.
If the standings don’t change, the Nuggets would have the No. 2 seed in the playoffs and open at home against No. 7 Dallas.
The Nugs have beaten the Mavericks in all four games this season, and have won eight of their last 10 games, so would probably advance.
Then the trouble begins: Denver, with the worst defense (100.9 points allowed per game) in the Western Conference playoffs, would likely meet No. 3 seed San Antonio, the team with the best defense (93.5) in the West.
The Nuggets are second only to the Lakers in scoring, but in the playoffs, defense usually trumps offense, so Denver’s run probably ends there.
