Little League registrations set

Registration for the Glenwood Springs Little League baseball teams will be held on Feb. 25 and Feb. 28 at Glenwood Springs Elementary School.

The registration sessions will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The Little League program is open to ages 9-14.



To register, players and parents must bring a proof of residency and a proof of birthday. Proof of residency documents include utility bills, phone bills, drivers’ licenses, etc.

The annual player draft will be held on March 9 at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs.



Players will try out and the draft will follow. The tryouts and draft for ages 9-12 will be from 10 a.m. to noon.

The draft and tryouts for ages 13-14 will be from 1-3 p.m.

Players should come dressed and ready to play.

Carbondale, Basalt registrations set

Three Rivers Little League Baseball will host registrations at Basalt Middle School and Carbondale Middle School from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28.

An early registration on Feb. 21 also will be held in Carbondale.

Copies of birth certificates and/or naturalization forms are required along with proof of residence.
