Martial Arts students in New Castle earn advancement

  

NEW CASTLE — Fourteen students from Western Colorado Taekwondo earned their advancement in Rifle on June 15.

John Reeves, Ella Zupcsek-Rhine, Matthew Rhine and Danny Rhine earned their gold belts, and Jason Neil, Adam Whitt, Ana Rivas, Bailey Reeves and Patrick Whitt earned their gold belts with green stripes.

Earning a green belt with blue stripes was David Pruett, and Justin Macklin earned his green belt. Dalton Pruett and McKenna Pruett successfully tested for their blue belts with red stripes, and Connor Macklin earned his blue belt.



The testing was conducted by Senior Master Bill Strouse, an eighth-degree black belt and senior instructor of Western Colorado Taekwondo in New Castle.
