Mother’s Day Mile run now accepting registrations

The 15th annual Mother’s Day Mile charity run will be held at 1 p.m. May 11.

The 1-mile race is a fundraiser for Advocate Safehouse Project. Preregistered participants are guaranteed an ecofriendly bag with goodies. The race is open to women, men and families, and everyone gets homemade apple pie and a chance to win African age group awards after the race has finished. Among the attractions are roses for moms, the huge gift basket silent auction and kids’ activities.

Interested runners can guarantee themselves a goodie bag by preregistering at Glenwood Medical Associates, 1830 Blake Ave., Glenwood Springs, or at U.S. Bank on the corner of 19th and Grand Avenue, in Glenwood Springs.
