Hunters Hospitality & Info Center welcomes hunters Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Oct. 18-20 and Nov. 1-3. Follow the big orange signs to the Rifle Information Center. Visit with the Forest Service, BLM, Colorado State Parks and DOW. Get info on lodging, restaurants and businesses that supply all of your hunting gadgets and gear, and warm up with a free cup of coffee. Also, Thursday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon KMTS Radio will broadcast live, free samples from Butcher Block of Rifle will be available and Dominos Pizza delivers at noon. The Friends of Wulfsohn Mountain Park and Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers will finish the last 1,000 feet of the new trail connecting the Glenwood Springs Community Center with the adjacent open space from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, beginning at the community center.
