Bear selfies!

Carbondale resident Ken Krehbiel has been documenting the activity of one of the resident bears this winter that has a den near town, using remote motion-sensor cameras. The Post Independent featured Krehbiel’s photographic pursuits in a recent Sunday Profile story. Krehbiel reports that last weekend the highly curious bear, which hasn’t been hibernating all that much during this mild winter, managed to snag one of the cameras and drag it over to the den. A second camera caught what happened next. Bear selfies!
