Murray finishes 25th at Vegas Tough Mudder

Glenwood native and GSHS graduate Eddie Murray recently made the short trip to Las Vegas to compete in the World’s Toughest Mudder competition, which featured nearly 1,300 competitors.

According to the event website, World’s Toughest Mudder is an extreme 24-hour obstacle course challenge. While the man, woman and team who completes the most 5-mile course laps in 24 hours will be crowned champion, those who complete 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles would be honored for their efforts.

In Las Vegas, Murray finished an astounding 25th overall in the 24-hour competition. In those 24 hours, Murray completed 70 miles and went around, over and through 336 obstacles in the competition.
