Join Wilderness Workshop’s Sarah Johnson for a day hike into the Thompson Divide along the Marion Gulch trail. The trail starts in an aspen grove and then gains elevation to a beautiful ridge near the Sunlight Ski Area with views of Mount Sopris. This moderate, mid-elevation hike is six miles long. No dogs are allowed, and hikers are advised to bring appropriate day hike equipment including water, snacks and lunch.

This free hike is sponsored by Alpine Bank, Aspen Snowmass Sotheby’s, Reese Henry & Company, Roaring Fork Valley Horse Council, Bristlecone Mountain Sports and Gorsuch.

Registration is required at  www.wildernessworkshop.org. Please call 970-510-0697 with questions.

The Wilderness Workshop is the conservation watchdog of the White River National Forest and adjacent federal public lands. Its goal is to keep the backcountry more or less “as is” and to restore wildness to this nationally important landscape.
