Glenwood Springs High School freshman Callie Jones takes her approach shot on hole No. 5 at Glenwood Springs Golf Course on Friday afternoon. The hole was the 53rd hole of the day played by Jones, who joined her teammates in a fundraiser for the Glenwood girls golf team. Players got sponsors to donate as much as $10 per hole played for each player. All total, coach Clem Michel said the team raised close to $3,000 during the fundraiser. Michel, by the way, set a new personal record by playing 108 holes on the 9-hole course on Friday.
