Rifle’s Tanner Vines (9) fights through the tackle attempt of Bennett’s Mason Wakeham (20) during the 2019 Colorado High School Coaches Association All-State Games’ football feature, played in Alamosa at Adams State University’s Rex Field June 7. With the RHS standout one of its primary ball-carriers offensively, the South Team separated during the fourth quarter to down North 31-17, giving the South its first win since a 28-27 triumph in 2011, when the Games came to Alamosa from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
