Rams roll to win over Olathe

OLATHE – The Roaring Fork girls soccer team picked up its first win of the season, 3-1, over league-foe Olathe here Thursday.

Tessa Zugschwerdt opened the scoring for Roaring Fork (1-0 Western Slope League, 1-3 overall), netting a cross from Brie Bath in the 20th minute for a 1-0 Rams advantage.

Erin Young gave Roaring Fork a 2-0 lead midway through the second half before Olathe’s Brandi Dunham cut the lead 2-1 with a shot from the top of the box.



Megan Zeigel sealed the contest in the 65th minute for the 3-1 final.

Rams goalies Alyson Romanus and Jazz Leslie finished with two and four saves, respectively.
