Rams win home opener in four sets

The Roaring Fork Rams girls volleyball team defeated the Aspen Skiers in four sets, Thursday, 13-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-17.

Madilyn Kuhl, Grace Brown and Lyndsay Hansen led the Rams in kills, while Lily Ramos chipped in with 14 digs, and Lyndsay Hansen recorded 11 total blocks.

Playing in their first home game of the season, the Rams stumbled out of the gate early before finding their footing to rip off three straight wins.

“The girls started out a little nervous, it was their first home game,” Roaring Fork head coach Jennifer Dority said. “They came together and played as a team, a unit- and worked together to win the rest of the games.”

The Rams will travel to Moffat County, Saturday, for a 3 p.m. showdown with the Bulldogs.
