Rangely shoots down Coal Ridge

Despite having four guys hit double digits in scoring, the Coal Ridge boys basketball team couldn’t pull out a victory, falling 73-67 to Rangely Friday night at Coal Ridge.The Titans built a 31-25 advantage after the first half, but Rangely started the second half with a bang, totaling 25 points in the third and following with 23 in the final frame to end up on top.Robbie Higgins led all Titans with 19 points, Eric Schmitz scored 15, Kevin Screen added another 12 and Skyler James chipped in 11.Coal Ridge falls to 1-7 in Class 2A District 5 and 6-12 overall, while Rangely moves to 2-5 in the league and 5-12 overall.
