AURORA – Centaurus was just too much for the Rifle Bears softball team.

Rifle took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning, but Centaurus came back quickly with a run in the top of the second inning.
Then Centaurus started pouring it on.
The Warriors, who play in the Skyline League, notched three runs in the third inning, five in the fourth and two in the fifth for the 10-run rule victory.
Rifle managed just two hits in the game, with Brooke St. Pierre hitting an RBI triple and Erica Graham notching a single. The Bears were plagued by five errors on defense.
Centaurus tallied 11 hits and didn’t commit an error.
