Roaring Fork baseball duo fronts local pack on All-3A WSL squad

Roaring Fork’s Alex Rascon and Jake Strack-Loertscher fronted the local pack on the All-3A Western Slope League baseball team.

Both Rams landed on the first team, Rascon as an outfielder and Strack-Loertscher as a catcher. Teammate Clay Gross nabbed an infield all-league selection as an honorable mention.

Grand Valley landed three honorable mentions in outfielder Jerrod Busch, pitcher Jeremy Lawrence and infielder Cameron King.

Freshman Cole Ryan represented Coal Ridge as an honorable-mention infielder.

Player of the year honors went to Aspen pitcher Anderson Cole, whose big arm produced a no-hitter and perfect game in successive starts and an all-around dominant season.
