Roaring Fork’s title hopes dashed

FORT COLLINS ” The Roaring Fork High School boys basketball team suffered only their second loss of the second today, but this loss will keep them from a state title.

Playing at Moby Gym on the campus of Colorado State University, the Rams were beaten by Kent Denver, 63-49 in the first round of the Class 3A state tournament.

Kent Denver is now 19-6 on the season, while Roaring Fork dropped to 23-2. The Rams will now drop into the consolation bracket.



In the last three seasons, the Rams have placed second twice and third three years ago.
