Tamberello leads Coal Ridge

GRAND JUNCTION — Coal Ridge High School’s Riley Tamberello finished with a score of 84 to lead all Garfield County boys golfers at the Warrior Invitational on Tuesday at Tiara Rado Golf Course.

Tamberello’s score placed him in a tie for 14th in the individual standings with Jacob Johnson of Fruita Monument. The Titans carded a team score of 240 to finish fifth.

Cole Duplesys carded an 85 to finish right behind Tamberello individually. Grand Valley’s J.T, Kellebrew finished with a 92 to set the pace for the Cardinals.



Donny Kinnaman of Grand Junction carded a 73 to win medalist honors. The Tigers also won the team title with a score of 226.
