Volleyball: Rams claim regional title

CARBONDALE, Colorado – Roaring Fork earned its second trip to the state volleyball tournament in three years by sweeping through the 3A Region 11 tournament on Saturday.
The host Rams defeated Frontier Academy in the morning, 25-11, 25-11, 25-11, and then returned to their home court in Carbondale to top Lamar in three games, 25-17, 25-21, 25-13.
Roaring Fork will take a 22-3 record to the 12-team state tournament, which is slated for Friday and Saturday at the Denver Coliseum.
